Made from Recycled Yarn

I've recently discovered the blog Look What I Found by Le Chat in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This girl really gets it. She does a lot of creating with recycled objects, especially yarn reclaimed from sweaters. Here's a sampling of what she makes from the yarn. The orange one is my favorite. She sells her creations at shows and on her Etsy shop, also called Le Chat. Click on the photo's below to read more about what each was recycled from.

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments! Lots to answer to, so I'm gonna do it all in one.

Sheila - Thank you. Le Chat does a beautiful job doesn't she?

Le-Chat - Anytime. You're doing a wonderful thing and your work is very beautiful.

Carol - LOL, I haven't tried felting yet. Unraveling isn't scary, it just takes a bit of time.

Deborah - Thank you very much! I have a sister in Georgia so I'll make a trip to that shop when I visit her. What city is it in?

Wazzupweb - That's what your web tool said, Julia Stiles 56%. It was the highest look alike listed for me. I think I may have looked more like her when I was younger than I do now though.

Lillian - Thank you :)

Kampanye - It sure is, Le-Chat is brillant!

Now I feel cad, i'm sure that I've thrown away sweaters with holes on them. I am not very crafty but maybe that will change if I keep reading your blogs.

Just an awesome way to utilize things. Helps you save some money too at the end of each month.

Keep trying LL&L. Anyone can craft, it's just a matter of finding what materials you are most comfortable using.

You're right Vinay, it's not just good for the earth, it's also very good for our budgets :)
